These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy below, form the entire agreement between you and Rawhide regarding the Site.
Part B — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Rawhide collects, uses, and protects information when you visit or contact us through the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a contact or inquiry form, we collect what you choose to share — typically name, email, telephone, company, title, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers collect technical information through cookies and similar technologies, including: IP address and approximate location; browser, device, and operating system; pages viewed and navigation paths; referring URLs; and date and time of visit.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: respond to your inquiry; evaluate fit for our services; improve and analyze the Site; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights and safety of Rawhide and others. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use contact submissions for unsolicited mass marketing or list-building.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as follows:
Website platform — Squarespace. The Site is hosted and operated on Squarespace, a website platform provided by Squarespace, Inc. (“Squarespace”). When you visit the Site or submit a contact form, your information is processed by Squarespace on our behalf for hosting, form delivery, security, and platform analytics. Squarespace processes data primarily on infrastructure located in the United States, and its handling of that data is governed by its Privacy Policy at squarespace.com/privacy.
Service providers. With other third parties that help us operate the Site or our business (analytics, email delivery, business communications), used only as necessary to provide services to us.
Communications platform — Quo (formerly OpenPhone). We use Quo, operated by OpenPhone Technologies, Inc., to send and receive calls, texts, and voicemails. When you call or text us, Quo processes your phone number, message content, and metadata on our behalf, subject to its Privacy Policy at quo.com/privacy. SMS/text opt-in consent and the associated phone numbers are never sold, shared, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
Legal requirements. If required by law, regulation, or court order, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or respond to an emergency.
Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of the transaction; we will notify you of any material change in handling.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Essential and platform cookies. The Site is built on Squarespace, which sets cookies necessary for Site function — including session identifiers, a visitor identifier (SS_MID), a form-security token (the “crumb” cookie used to prevent cross-site request forgery), and conversion-tracking cookies (ss_cvr, ss_cvt). These cookies are operated by Squarespace on our behalf and cannot be disabled without affecting basic Site function.
Analytics. We use two analytics services to understand how visitors use the Site:
Squarespace Analytics, provided by Squarespace, gives us aggregate traffic and engagement data. Data is processed by Squarespace as described in its Privacy Policy at squarespace.com/privacy.
Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, sets cookies that transmit usage data to Google in the United States, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Managing cookies. Where required by applicable law, the Site displays a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain Site features.
5. Text Message (SMS) Communications
We may communicate by SMS or MMS through our Quo business number to respond to inquiries, schedule a call, or follow up on a conversation.
Consent. By providing your mobile number and texting us, or by expressly agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from Rawhide at that number. Consent is not a condition of any service.
Frequency. Variable. We do not send unsolicited bulk texts; messages are sent only in response to your inquiry or as agreed.
Rates. Standard message and data rates may apply per your carrier. Rawhide does not charge separately for texts.
Opt-out. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. To re-subscribe, reply START.
No sharing. SMS opt-in data — including your phone number and consent — will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact submissions and correspondence as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain a record of communications, or as required by law. Analytics data is retained per our Google Analytics configuration. Detailed retention schedules for engagement data are set out in our Data Handling and Destruction Policy.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of future communications. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy rights (for example, California under CCPA/CPRA or the EEA under GDPR) may have additional rights; we will honor reasonable requests consistent with applicable law.
9. Third-Party Sites and Children’s Privacy
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site linked from the Site. The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; if you believe we have, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
